Head Coach Poyatos: "First of all, before I share my impressions of the match, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the 800 or so Gamba supporters who came to Kashima Stadium today, despite the match being held on a weekday Wednesday, and who gave us their usual passionate and wonderful support. Thank you so much as always. As for my impressions of the match, I think the first and second halves were very different. In the first half, the match was played at Kashima's pace, and we had to play defensively, but with Ichimori at the center, we were able to show good defensive posture and demonstrate our patience. In the midst of this, we needed to correct our pressing, so we did, and in the second half, we were able to bring the game to a draw, and as time passed, I think the pace shifted to Gamba's. In that sense, I think the 0-0 draw was a fair result for both teams."
