Head Coach Poyatos: "I think we played a good game overall. Kyoto is a really great team, and while we understood that they would press hard, I think we were able to keep control throughout the first and second halves. However, we did allow the equalizer from a set play, and we need to continue to fix that. I think it was good that we responded well after the loss to Kobe, and I'm really proud of all the players."

Q: Unlike the Kobe match, I think today's starting members were able to show their strength in the midfield. Could you tell us if Head Coach Poyatos has approached them in any way?
Head Coach Poyatos: "I've been telling the players to build up their confidence. As I've been saying since day one, they have talent, so I need to take away the pressure they feel every day in order to make the most of that talent and help them build up their confidence. If we want to win, I think we absolutely need to play with the same intensity as we did today."

Q: In the midfield, Alano was deployed as an interior player and showed great intensity, and Rihito YAMAMOTO was also highly praised by Head Coach Poyatos for his effective passes. What was the intention behind deploying these two players and what was your evaluation of them?
Head Coach Poyatos: "As for Alano, he helps the team well in terms of pressing, and I knew that Kyoto would be pressing, so I used him in that position because he can receive passes between the lines. As for (Yamamoto) Masahito, I think he's a really good player. I think he has a lot of potential, and I understand that he needs time to further unlock that potential. So I want to support him so that he can become a player who can make a difference, and I'm sure he will be a player who will carry the future of Japan on his shoulders."

Q: "The players you just mentioned, including Fukuda, must be causing the Head Coach a lot of headaches ahead of the league games. What are your thoughts on that?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "Thank you for asking such a great question (laughs). I think this kind of situation is necessary for a team like Gamba. As I said at the beginning of the season, I have decided to go for everything as Gamba, so I think it is important for me and for the team that the players who performed so well today are prepared, and I think it is great news for the fans as well."
