Q: With the weekend league game coming up, I think the reason why you used Ui-jo was because he had a very good chemistry with Iwata last year, and because they haven't been able to score recently, you wanted Iwata to score and get them back in the league. What was the intention behind using Ui-jo? It was Kurokawa's first start, and I think his strengths on the left wing were carried over to his performance in future league games. What is your assessment of Head Coach?
Head Coach: "As for Ui-jo, as I said after the last match, I wanted him to refresh himself recently, and he's been struggling with not scoring goals, so I thought he'd do a little bit of that today, so I put him in for 45 to 60 minutes. The young players showed good teamwork and played well, and I think it was good that he scored the goal we were aiming for. We've been playing together with Kurokawa since the training camp, and while he's shown good things in many areas, he hasn't had the chance to play in a match, so I sent him out with high expectations of how well he would perform, but I think he did better than I expected. Q: "You saw Kurokawa at the training camp and were convinced he could do it, so you chose him, but even though it was Levain, the fact that he was able to perform so well in his first start speaks volumes about his potential. Head Coach: "He wasn't intimidated, so I think he has a strong heart. That's something that's necessary to do well as a professional, and although he's only 22, I think whether he can acquire that ability quickly will determine whether he can be successful as a professional, so in that sense I was very impressed."

Q: "I think it was a game where the young players were really active, and I think there were a lot of positive aspects to take into account going into the league games. What do you think about that?"
Head Coach Miyamoto: "Right now, what they're lacking in league matches is the amount of movement, but not just movement, but the movement to get behind the player, the movement to make the most of their teammates even if they can't receive the ball, the part where they can get close to the opponent's ball, and the hunger that's shown in their play has led to this score and their performance. It's not just the young players, but for example, Yonekura, who wore the captain's armband, showed great defensive skills, and what I told them in today's meeting was that there are things that the top team is currently lacking, so they should bring that out.
