The event was held on Sunday, February 2nd in the Torikai Nishi area of Yodogawa River Park and on the right bank of the Yodogawa River in Settsu City, the hometown of GAMBA OSAKA.
MOFLEM participated in the "45th Settsu Community Marathon - Seppi Cup."
Over 1,000 people participated in this year's Fureai Marathon.
At the opening ceremony, Settsu City Mayor Koichiro Shimano mentioned the opening race, the "Osaka Derby," to be held at Panasonic Stadium Suita on February 14th, and offered words of encouragement, saying, "I'm rooting for you to win."
This year, MOFLEM was once again in his usual position at the starting line, cheering on the runners as they raced past him.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the athletes who participated in the 45th Settsu Fureai Marathon - Seppi Cup, as well as to the Settsu City Hall and everyone who worked hard to run the event.
We are supporting this tournament with the sponsorship of GAMBASSIST companies.
GAMBA OSAKA will continue to work with its hometown community to create a club that is loved and rooted in the local community.
