Yokohama FC

A group of supporters of Yokohama Flügels, which was absorbed into Yokohama Marinos, established the management company of Yokohama FC. Yokohama FC was established in 1999 as Japan's first citizens' club, and joined the JFL as an associate member. It has participated in the J.League since 2001. The team's home town is Yokohama City.
The mascot is "FULIMARU", an alien motif created in 2009 to mark the 10th anniversary of the club's founding, and his uniform number is 99. The emblem has its roots in Yokohama Flügels and features a phoenix, which symbolizes the team's rebirth as a citizens' club. The blue ribbon worn by supporters as part of the "Blue Wings Movement" to keep the Flügels alive is also incorporated into the upper part of the emblem.
